An Innovative Self-Funded Approach

Our programs can be completely self-funded at the employer's election; the programs can be paid for by: the incremental increased contributions which non-participants and non-adherents pay for their medical benefits and by actual adjusting healthcare trend reduction.

Through its patent-pending Participatory Underwriting Design System, EngagementHealth allows the employer to set the incentive levels for each program and create, if desired, a self-funding mechanism to bring cutting edge and comprehensive health promotion to their employees and members.


Our Programs make Financial Sense for Employers and Employees

EngagementHealth can be paid in one or two ways.

First, if the employer elects to use Participatory Underwriting, the plan is charged a capped basic plan fee. By design, the basic plan fee is funded by the increased incremental contribution of NON- PARTICIPANTS and NON-ADHERENTS in the program.

To the extent non-participants and non-adherence rates are not sufficient to cover EngagementHealth basic plan fee, then payment is made based upon the actual adjusted annual trend reduction.

EngagementHealth will assume the entire risk of payment coming from the incremental non- participant contributions and annual plan fee based on the number of employees and spouses participating in an EngagementHealth Program.

In certain circumstances a one time set up fee and an "off benefit cycle" monthly fee will be charged.
